Fishing Charters - New Zealand
New Zealand is one of our closest big fish bearing neighbours. Our charters operate from the Bay of Islands, a beautiful region on the north island of New Zealand less than 3 hours drive from the capitol of Auckland. Our operator here is a specialist in light tackle fishing for Yellowtail Kingfish with specific charters tailored to suit the best tides for these monsters. Other species available in the region include Harpuka, Golden Snapper, Kahawai, Trevally, Mao Mao, John Dory, Sharks and for the gamefishing enthusiasts Marlin and Tuna are also target species when in season. Your charter will be designed specifically around the species you most want to target and with a skipper who has over 30 years experience fishing these waters you can’t go wrong! For those who enjoy saltwater fly fishing, you can fish for Yellowtail Kingfish, Trevally and Kahawai from our vessel which has great manoeuvrability.
Share charters are available for up to 4 anglers but if you want to target a specific species or venture into saltwater fly or gamefishing we suggest a sole charter to maximise your potential. Your catch will be cleaned and packed for your journey home, but in the interest of sustainability for these waters the release of all species not required for eating purposes is encouraged.
